A week in the life of a Vulnerability Researcher includes:

• Analysis of computer network engineering and network traffic data
• Analysis of malicious network activity and computer network protocols
• Use advanced cryptanalysis, reverse engineering, and attack modeling concepts

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $85,000 $180,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
• Minimum 2-years of proven experience including:
  
  
  
  • C programming in contemporary Windows and Linux/Unix software development environments
  • Reverse engineering Windows applications, using IDA Pro, OllyDbg, Windbg, Ghidra and others
  • Reverse engineering Windows kernel modules, using IDA Pro, OllyDbg, Windbg, Ghidra and others
  • Implementing cryptographic algorithms
  • Windows device driver development
  • Android or IOS application development environments
