Our IS4S Ogden, Utah location is seeking to hire an experienced Link-16 Ground Support System (GSS) Engineer to support procurement, installation and site acceptance testing of the system at various world-wide locations. In particular, we are looking for candidates who are self-starters, teachable, and able to learn new things as they work together with others to solve challenging technical problems. Worldwide travel is required.

Job Role(s):

This position will:

* Support conversion of customer requirements into clear system requirements for Link-16 GSS operation

* Support the planning, site preparation, integration, configuration, operations, and maintenance of the Link-16 GSS

* Perform systems engineering processes, procedures, and best practices

* Provide engineering expertise to activities such as development, testing, evaluating, training and configuration management in support of an program

* Provide technical support to evaluate and integrate new capabilities

* Work with system, hardware, and software teams to design solutions to meet requirements

* Work with test team to ensure that all requirements are tested

The successful candidate will have:

* Strong desire to contribute to overall team success

* Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills

* High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite

Required experience:

* Technical expertise on Link-16 Ground Support Systems

* High MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word proficiency

* Strong written and oral communication skills

* Ability to travel internationally

* Ability and motivation to work with minimal direction

Must be a US Citizen: This position requires obtaining a government security clearance.

Additional Experience / Qualifications of Interest:

* Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, computer science, or related technical field

* Operational experience Link-16 GSS: TDMA, 1553B, IP connect verification, Maps and graphics displays, Data Recording standards, Data formats, Hardware integration

* Strong decision making and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on innovative and creative solutions

* Proactive, self-motivated and self-directing; able to drive deliverables and results which involves people who do not always report to you
