The College of Business (COB) at Alfred University is inviting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Marketing position starting Fall 2025. Our AACSB-internationally accredited college offers an established expanding MBA program and a dynamic undergraduate program with majors and minors across various disciplines, including cutting-edge studies in health planning and management, business analytics, and AU's interdisciplinary program in data analytics. The marketing curriculum supports management programs in Arts, Equine Business, and Sports. At Alfred University, we emphasize excellence in teaching and experiential learning.
We are looking for a candidate holding a master's or terminal degree in Marketing or a related field. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in integrated marketing communications and proficiency in digital marketing. This position will teach undergraduate courses in the following (but not limited to): Principles of Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Integrated Marketing Communications, Digital and Social Media Marketing, Marketing Analytics and Sales Management. MBA courses in marketing related topics may also be required. The position will have a teaching load ranging from 9-12 credit hours per semester based on qualifications. There are also expectations to conduct research and provide service to the university through committees and club advising. Ph.D. or ABO candidates must have a proven teaching record and evolving research track with the ability to meet AACSB requirements. Master's candidates should have considerable experience as a marketing practitioner and proven teaching experience in higher education; corporate training will be considered. Experience in non-traditional teaching methods (e.g., experiential learning, online, hybrid), internship development, club advising and involvement in student conferences and competitions will be particularly attractive. Salary will be $80,000-$88,000 based on qualifications and experience.
