The Opportunity:

The Sales Engineer, Commercial Energy will be responsible for the management of activities from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life. This individual will serve as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product's lifecycle including modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line. Also, this individual will develop business plans for the commercial B2B business area and product positioning in the marketplace as well as oversees projector market research, monitors competitive activity and identifies customer needs. Lastly, this individual will establish pricing strategies for the commercial B2B solution segment.



  • Gain deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth.
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
  • Develop product pricing and positioning strategies.
  • Short term and long term strategizing of plans for business ventures.
  • Monitoring daily operation such as sales, SCM, and logistics.
  • Translate product strategies into detail requirements and prototypes.
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact.
  • Liaison responsible for communication, collaboration and support between Global Headquarters, Factory, and R&D.
  • Build and execute GTM plan based on STP and competitive analysis.
  • Managing Product promotion plan both for direct and indirect customers.
  • Create price strategy for the products line up.
  • Management of KPI: Sales, COI, Market shares, etc.
  • Reporting to management on regular basis.


Qualifications:

Required:



  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Bilingual (Korean/English) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience is required. Experience in high-tech, competitive intelligence, product management, strategic marketing, or strategy/management consulting is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of business planning & analysis concepts (Business Indexes: COI, WOS, Sales Deduction and so on) is plus.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have ability to manage multiple initiatives and competing priorities.
  • Financial modeling skill using Microsoft Excel for pricing and promotions strategies is strongly recommended.
