Position Highlights

The Little Sensor Lab at the University of Arizona, James C. Wyant College of Optical Sciences is seeking a highly qualified and motivated post-doctoral associate to work on a project involving photonic integrated design and testing.

Federal regulations require that the incumbent be a U.S. citizen, legal permanent resident, or have another protected status under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) to be EAR compliant.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Participate in newly started research project in the area of photonic integrated circuits.
  • Publish articles in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Assist in supervising and mentoring students
Minimum Qualifications
  • PhD in engineering or science or related field upon hire.
  • Federal regulations require that the incumbent be a U.S. citizen, legal permanent resident, or have another protected status under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) to be EAR compliant.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous demonstrated experience designing integrated photonic components and interfacing with foundires.
