As an essential part of the Human Resource team, the HR Coordinator supports key processes and delivers day-to-day HR services for new and current employees. We're looking for a reliable, service-minded professional who can help build strong partnerships across the organization. In this role, you'll be trusted, empowered, and supported to make a real impact on our people and our business.

What you will be doing:
  • Uphold and promote E2's number one Core Value: Safety
  • Assist with a wide range of HR functions across the employee lifecycle
  • Manage high-volume HR transactions and administrative tasks
  • Process candidate paperwork and coordinate pre-employment requirements (background checks, drug screens, I-9s, etc.)
  • Facilitate new hire and benefits orientation
  • Track and maintain employee data, including affirmative action and motor vehicle records
  • Audit employee files and ensure accurate documentation
  • Respond to employee questions about policies and benefits
  • Coordinate leave of absence processes (FMLA, military, etc.)
  • Manage offboarding procedures and related documentation
  • Review and file HR forms (corrective actions, status changes, PTO, attendance, etc.)
  • Help ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements
Travel: The individual in this role should be able and willing to travel as required by E2.
What we are looking for:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1-year administrative experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite plus
  • Experience working in a construction or manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Detail oriented; Ability to pay attention to the details of a project or task.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize as necessary.
  • The ability to formulate a sound decision using the available information.
  • Ability to demonstrate conduct conforming to a set of values and accepted standards.
  • Ability to develop business relationships by positively and effectively interacting with a variety of personalities and individuals
  • Ability to maintain and ensure confidentiality as it relates to employee and company information.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The standard work environment for this position is an indoors business office and construction environment. Ability to use a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods of time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee must demonstrate regular and on-time attendance. There could be a requirement of occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
