The Sr. Business Development Officer (BDO) is responsible for the direct sales of financial products to businesses and institutional entities. Primary BDO focus is to drive the market calling efforts to select prospects, sell bank services to key decision makers, and lead Institutional Wealth visibility at select trade functions and with professional advisors, consultants, and attorneys; as well as with internal market executives and calling officers. The BDO sources new business through the disciplined management of a prospect data base, active networking, consistent review of Salesforce, and maintaining good relationships with key players in the industry segment. The BDO works closely with team members to insure timely and consistent responses to formal requests for proposals. Team Culture

Education & Experience Requirements
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of an advanced Business Bachelor's Degree and 10 plus successful years in business development or at least 16 plus years experience in a related field.
